Testing Laboratory for Ventilators, Anemometers, and Dustiness Measuring

The Testing Laboratory for Ventilators, Anemometers, and Dustiness Measuring is part of the Testing Laboratory No. 1025 accredited by CIA (Czech Accreditation Institute).

DUSTINESS MEASURING

• dustiness measuring according to the CSN EN 482, CSN EN 689, Hygienic regulations in connection with workplace classification
• monitoring of the dustiness on workplace, solutions and proposals on measures
• dustiness measuring of machines, technologies and devices
• measuring of dust depositions for environment determination
• determination of failure causes at dust separators
• determination of efficiency of separators, filters and dustproof devices
• determination of mass flow of solid particles in conduits
• determination of dustiness in technologies from the viewpoint of explosion, fire
• measuring of welding fumes
• examination of drop decomposition in cone and spray angle at pressure-water nozzles and sprinklers
• determination of parameter at ventilation pipes, ventilation pipe pulling (tightness, solidness) 

FLOW MEASURING

• measuring and determination of efficiency parameters, work ratings and energetic efficiency of all types of ventilators up to diameter of the impeller of 5 000 mm
• measuring and determination of aerodynamic parameters at ventilation pipes and air piping accessories
• determination of aerodynamic parameters of devices, aerodynamic resistance of ventilation pipe pulling, cubical flow rate and pressure losses in the air piping nets according to valid standards and methodology for measuring approved by the Czech Mining Authority in Prague
• efficiency and strength tests of ventilating heads in air current within the scope of certification
• calibration of tools for measuring of wind speed ( anemometers) in the range from 0,25 m.s-1 up to 30 m.s-1
• determination of parameter at ventilation pipes, ventilation pipe pulling (tightness, solidness)
