Testing Laboratory for Analysers and Gas Detectors, Methane screening

The Testing Laboratory for Analysers, Gas detectors and Methane screening is part of the Testing Laboratory No. 1025 accredited by CIA (Czech Accreditation Institute).

ACTIVITIES

• methane screening, exits of methane, biogas for the needs of building industry, Police of the Czech Republic, etc.
• detection of combustible and toxic gas and vapour leakage, and oxygen leakage in industrial practice
• sampling of combustible and toxic gas, vapour and oxygen, analysis in laboratory conditions
• examination of functional reliability, determination of calibration curves, setting the signalling limits, calibration of analyzers for combustible and toxic gas, vapour and oxygen
• tests of detection tubes for combustible and toxic gases and alcohol in breath 
• arrangement of calibration service for stationary detection systems directly at client according to the requirements of the Ministry of the Interior Notice 246/2001 Coll.
• determination of flammability of substances and preparations reacting with water according to Notice 164/2004 Coll. – A12
• assessment activities, explosion risk analysis, expert assessment
• determination of smoking-ability of materials and toxic plastic waste
• analysis of dump gas

DETECTION TECHNIQUE, ANALYSERS

Detectors and suction devices, detection pipes, analyzers and convert members for analysis of combustible and toxic gas, vapour and oxygen, including instruments for measuring of their concentration, laboratory analyzers for gas, vapour and other matters in atmosphere and surroundings.
